Let me introduce myself and describe my life path from college graduate to the web-content freelance writer career of today.
My love of writing was sparked through the many terrific high school creative writing assignments for which I received good marks. I have since had an unrestrained passion for writing.
I chose to study business office administration in college, which included courses that further developed my grammar, spelling, general communcation, and keyboarding skills.
After graduating, I worked as an administrative assistant to key executives of top organizations for 15 years, helping to ensure excellent business communication and success. My business acumen and writing skills were honed as I partnered with such a broad range of organizations over the years.
Writing and submitting articles became a favourite past-time from the get-go and I sold my first article in 2006.
In the mid-1990's I left the outside workforce to raise my family, volunteer, and dabble in a variety of small business areas. Encouraging the stay-at-home mom to view her role as a viable career option is something near and dear to my heart and I have written material for this niche.
In the 2000s, My career took a variety of twists. I was certified as a Life Purpose Coach® in 2006 by Life Purpose Coaching Centers International® and have been a life coach to women and writer of self-improvement topics since.
I then dabbled as a conversational English tutor to new immigrants, proofreader/editor, professional organizer and home showcaser for a realtor. I also do audio transcription work from my home office, and have worked for many respectible Fortune 500 companies doing so.
All of these experiences contribute to the varied writing assignments I do today. In early 2010, I began selling web content articles, blog posts and website content. To date I have sold over 150 pieces. A few samples are on the writing page here.
Though my office is located on a fabulous property in Ontario, Canada, I work for clients all over North America, the UK, Europe and Asia.

I live and work in a garden oasis sanctuary setting. I thrive on nature and on the spectacular views of trees, flowers, and birds from every window. I'm married with two teens, have a couple of cats, and a lovely dog I love to take to the dog park.
I stay motivated through networking with other like-minded individuals both online and in person, and attending my local church.
